Kingdom Thunder is a charity ride on some of the most beautiful roads in Vermont to support our local community center’s Healthy Changes Initiative – a groundbreaking, discounted membership and exercise program for people living with chronic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as cancer patients, cancer survivors, and seniors 65 years of age and older.

$45 per person ($35 if you register by 12/31/11)
Price includes a $25 donation to IROC and $20 cost of the BBQ, Bonfire, and Band at Cedarwood Resort at Jay on Saturday night after a good day’s ride.
Here’s the schedule so far:
- Friday night, August 24th –
Ride In -- It’s a party at D’Cota’s Tavern $5 cover
Ride starts at 10:00 am with the Blessing of the Bike, then leaves from Cedarwood Resort and Jay Village – out through Newport to Island Pond, Stewartstown (NH) Burke, Lyndonville, Willoughby Gap, Orleans, Lowell Mountain, and back to Jay.
BBQ and Bands at Cedarwood Resort at Jay.
Breakfast at Cedarwood and ride out.
Registered Riders also receive substantial Kingdom Thunder discounts on lodging at Cedarwood Lodge at Jay, Jay Village Inn and at Jay Peak’s Tram Haus Lodge and Condos. Camping is available at Cedarwood Resort.
Price does not include the $5 cover for D’Cota’s on Friday night or the cost of breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
